Often, device-dependent events will be bound to HTML elements, such as DIVs and SPANs which do not natively appear in the tab order and do not have focus or click events natively. As a consequence, they will not be accessible to persons who do not or cannot use a mouse.

Bad Example(s)

In this example, click event has been bound to a DIV element. The DIV element is not, by default, part of the tab order and the click() method in jQuery does not respond to keypress the same way onClick does in JavaScript.
